Frequently Asked Questions
Common Questions About Armco Inspections
How much do your services cost?
Since every property is different, our fees vary. Please request a no-cost, no obligation consultation and we will give you a specific estimate for your property and desired service.
How soon can you start?
While we often have immediate availability, please allow up to two weeks before an inspection can be performed. Large and complex jobs, or jobs outside of North Carolina may require additional lead time.
How long does it take to perform an inspection?
Simple inspections can be done in as little as two hours. Large or complex jobs can take up to four weeks.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept company or individual checks only.
What are the terms of your billing?
Our billing terms vary between clients, however, we typically offer net 10 to net 30 days with a penalty over 45 days.
What days and hours are you available?
We are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
What areas do you service?
We primarily service commercial and industrial buildings in the Southeast of the US including North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia, and Virginia. However, we do offer our services nationwide.
Do you offer both residential and commercial services?
We primarily service commercial properties, but do offer moisture and energy loss infrared scans to residential customers.
Who has to be on site during the inspection?
For roof infrared and electrical work two people are required to be present for safety. For commercial moisture or energy jobs, someone must be present in the building (but not necessarily accompanying Armco personnel). Homeowners (or legal representative) must be present for residential moisture or energy jobs.
What are the deliverables after an inspection?
After an inspection, both oral and written reports that include images will be delivered. Digital copies are available upon request.
What if the report reveals problems?
Each report contains a summary and recommendation section that is prioritized. We are available by cell after the inspection for consultation and can revisit the site as necessary for an additional fee or as negotiated initially as part of the scope of work.
